Handing In Assignments
We ask that you hand in one assignment every 30 days. This is really not asking much. We like to see you hand in more than one assignment every 30 days, of course, but some assignments are more daunting than others.
By "handing in assignments" this includes:
Fully completing an assignment and handing it in
Performing a task for an assignment
Showing proof of progress on an assignment
The first on the list is easy to understand... the second two, however, can be a little more difficult.
In some assignments, you are asked to do a series of activities or answer a bunch of questions. This may be difficult to do in one sitting. So things that require a lot of steps we have you put STILL WORKING at the top until it is complete. Every time you complete a task on the assignment you go into the assignment and update the information in the assignment. This then makes a note of progress in the assignment.
The second one is showing proof of progress...and this is in reference to assignments that are not done in class....these will be papers or essays or even crafting projects that may take longer than the 30 days to complete.
As these are assignments that are not done in class, so you cannot put in the STILL WORKING in class and it gives a note of progress, this means you have to contact your instructor and email what you have been working on to the instructor with the statement that you are currently working on (insert assignment name here) and will not be done with it in the next 30 days and have no other assignments that can be handed in currently. Explain that you are still working on the assignment and that this is simply a draft of your progress.
This will keep your instructors happy for the next 30 days and they will be able to see your proof of progress.
School Sweeps
On the main page of the school, as well as in the room that has the school rules, and within the Orientation it states in numerous places that you need to log into your account and into your classes every 14 days. If you do not then you are going to be flagged as inactive.
If you do not log into the school for 30 or more days your account will be deleted. Also, your student lounge account will be deleted.
If this happens to your account you are more than welcome to set up a new account, however, you will have to start over in the Orientation Series.
If you have graduated from the Orientation Series and have enrolled in other classes and you get removed from the school for inactivity, this means you will have to retake the Orientation Series before you can rejoin any other classes.
